About the Student Advancement Committee

The Student Advancement Committee is a group of undergraduates who help raise funds for the college, serve as ambassadors for the college, and set goals and plans for advancing the college’s student body. To be a member of SAC, a person must be enrolled in the college as a full-time undergraduate student, submit an application in the spring, and interview with a selection committee following the application process. All current committee members must re-apply for selection to the committee.

SAC strives to maintain a balanced membership to best represent the diversity of the students in the University of Illinois College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences.
